Hi everyone, just a little update, I've been on vacay for a little over a week now, Just finished margaritas and sangria at this cute little restaurant! Still have a few more days, we started out at home and drove down through Washington and all along the Oregon coast and the tip of northern Cali. Now we are driving back up through Portland for some tax free shopping! I could really get used to no tax! Im writing from my iPhone now so I will give a better update after I get home! Plus I need to read up on everyones blogs, wifi hasn't been that good along the coast!

Sea Creatures

Ive been meaning to show these pictures of some of my latest additions to my jewelry collection, I didnt even realize I was starting a sea creature theme, but now that I think of it Im becoming really drawn to them, especially starfish!

The first picture is of my ring, it has a starfish on one side and a seahorse on the other, I tried to take the photos at a few different angles because the stone changes so many different colours in different light! I still wasnt really able to capture it all.

The second picture is just a little starfish necklace I picked up awhile ago! Perfect for summer

Hay guys, it feels like forever since I've posted, probably because it has been so long now! I've been procrastinating but mostly because my computer is barely functioning, I really do not have much patience for slowness and when everything is 'not responding' I give up rather quickly. I have felt so out of the loop not checking up on any of my usual websites or blogs!

I hope everyone is having a good summer so far, our summer has definitely not been the best weatherwise, so I really try to take advantage of any sunny day we have. Im going on a vacation next week to Oregon, its my first time going so I hope we get some good weather! Also hoping for some tax free goodness of shopping, after going to the US a couple of days ago and seeing over $12 deal on some flipflops that I bought and saving over $50 on my nike runners Ive vowed to never buy shoes here that I can buy there because for some reason Canada refuses to give us deals. This drive me crazy!!

Anyways I wanted to post these photos awhile ago but the thought of uploading was just hopeless but for some reason my computer has decided to give me a little breather and function at a rather normal pace. I think Daria has the right idea.. her vacation looks so awesome, plus I love that simple white tank.

Smooth Sailing

Thought I would try to keep my anxiety down by doing a post before the game starts, the feeling here in Vancouver is already kind of insane, its hard to explain if your not a sports fan or being here right now, but this city is going to be wild if we win game 7 and major depressed if we dont! Cant wait for it to start already, Go Canucks!

Anyways, in keeping with Canucks colours I thought I would share this new nail polish I bought last week. Its from Essies summer collection, called smooth sailing, Im sure a lot of you have seen it in the stores already, but just in case you haven't here it is! Usually im not a super big fan of blues but this one is really pretty! The 2nd photo is from musings in manhattan, she can just take a much better nail photo than I can!

So even though last night was kind of terrible, Saturday night was an amazingly awesome time. This may be a fashion blog, but living in Canada, specifically Vancouver, I dont even know one person who doesnt watch hockey. So Saturday I went downtown to join the, at least 75,000 other Canuck fans to watch game 2. My friends and I watched from a restaurant and joined the party after our super fast overtime win, it's so much fun to be in a huge happy crowd, I must have had 100's of high fives and you feel like you leave with a thousand new friends! Cant wait for the next game because it has to be better than yesterdays! Go Canucks!

I finally took some pictures of some of my fave new jewelry pieces too, so I'll be sure to post those within the next couple of days!

Hello everyone.. so Im still kinda stuck in this rut, not fun. Feeling really uninspired and just not sure what I want to blog about.. so while Im figuring this out, I have a few more really awesome photos:







All the photos I've been seeing make me reallyyy want a vacation, just the thought of wearing shorts is not appealing. Today I saw people in toques and winter jackets, seriously weather pull your crap together!

In the mean time Im looking for a new job which has also been incredibly frustrating.

On a positive note though, Stanley Cup Finals here we come! Go Canucks! If anyone has an extra 1000 dollars laying around or an extra ticket, bring me with you! For now though a friend and I are going to go downtown and join in on the huge crowd parties and watch the game live somewhere! Should be fun, lets just hope we win that game or we're going to be in a really depressed crowd of people!

I cant believe its already May, I've been really lacking in the want to post lately, truthfully I've been feeling quite uninspired lately and my mood has just been down. Im partly blaming the fact that I've seen sun once in maybe two weeks, it's been really depressing weather, and I dont know about you guys but weather plays so much into my emotions. Maybe I need to live somewhere that has more sunshine or just a nice long vacation.

Anyways I saw these photos today and kinda loved them.

Coachella

Hope you all had a good long Easter weekend! Mine was full of half a weekend of sunshine (finalllyyy!) some chocolate and a near heart attack filled hockey game. Unfortunately our nice weather was way to short lived, I cant even say how much Im sick of the rain and crappy weather we've been having. I kind of spent a good deal of time being jealous over all the Coachella photos and lovely looking weather, I see why it sells out so fast and I seriouslyyy want to go so badly next year!

Summer!

Unfortunately I've been kind of distracted the last couple of weeks finishing up with school for the semester and studying for finals. Today I finished my last exam and I'm happy to report that I'm now officially on summer vacation! It always feels kind of weird getting out in April especially since its been really cold these past couple of weeks, seriously I think we had snow in some areas like last week, not the kind of weather I was hoping for once summer vacation started, but hopefully this freezing air leaves because Im definitely ready for summer weather!

And since I had no other obligations today I decided to make a little summer collage on polyvore =)

Inspired by bright colours at Michael Kors, cant wait for floppy hats and bellinis! A fave summer shade of nail polish, one of my favorite summer scents (very beachy and just summery), Moroccan oil and Fekkai's marine summer hair spray. Ive never tryed the marine spray, but it smells really good and I thought I might give it a shot this year.

All White

How great does Blake look in this all white outfit? Being pale I feel like I can only wear white sometimes or certain ways, maybe its just me because other pale people look good in white, either way I still like it!

So I think its pretty safe to say, jewelry and rings have become the biggest obsession of anything I could wear. I love so many types and brands, but something unique, badass, or something that could double as a weapon are my favorites. I always love to come across new brands and designers, and every now and then you just find that awesome new line!

Anyways take a look at this designer I came across way back in December at a craft fair, soo many amazinggg pieces! I loved everything even the layout of her corner in the craft fair was the best, I really wish I would have taken a picture. If my wallet would have allowed it I seriously would have bought every piece, but for now I smash piggy banks until I can start collecting some of these bad boys.
